We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our growing team. This role is crucial in helping us connect with businesses needing cutting-edge digital marketing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new leads through networking, cold calling, email outreach, and online research.
- Recommend and participate in trade shows, training, or other related events as requested and required.
- Develop and manage funnels with a strong focus on prospecting for potential clients.
- Understand potential clients’ pain points and marketing needs and provide tailored digital marketing solutions.
- Conduct compelling presentations to demonstrate the value of our services to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create proposals that meet clients’ needs.
- Prepare quotes and negotiate pricing.
- Develop and execute a call plan, perform business reviews, maintain an entire sales pipeline, monthly erosion analysis, and introduce new services.
- Build strong, long-lasting client relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Provide excellent customer service to your accounts and first-level accounts receivable management.
- Regularly broaden technical knowledge of various product lines.
- Stay updated on industry trends, digital marketing innovations, and competitor activities.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, pipeline progress, and client communications in the CRM system.
- Provide reports and updates to your manager on sales activities and pipelines.
- Develop and document your understanding of the competition.
Goal Achievement
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Research and submit monthly RFPs.
- Track the progress made towards your goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Business Development Representative, preferably in a digital marketing or related field.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts like SEO, PPC, social media, and content marketing.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales tools.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- 2 years experience in a similar sales environment role.
- Fully Bilingual in English and French.
- Resilience, perseverance, and the ability to overcome objections are a must.
- Go-getter attitude that displays initiative and persistence, all with a competitive drive.
